Buttercup Cottage Bakery operates as a home-based bakery offering order and pickup only. For privacy, our exact pickup address is provided after an order is placed. We are located in St. Joseph, Missouri, making pickup convenient for local customers.

All orders are placed through our online ordering platform, Hotplate. Our current menu, ordering cutoffs, and availability are listed there under the current week’s drop.

We accept credit cards, debit cards, Venmo, Cash App, and cash. Payment is required at the time of ordering to reserve your items. Payments are processed through our online ordering platform.

Pickup options are available Monday through Saturday. Most items are ready for pickup within 24–48 hours after the order is placed, unless otherwise noted on the menu.

Yes, we offer delivery within St. Joseph and surrounding areas. Delivery fees may apply for locations outside of St. Joseph and are determined based on distance.

Our sourdough breads typically stay fresh for up to one week when kept in the bread bags they are packaged in. For longer storage, freezing instructions are included on the instruction sticker located on the back of each bag.
