Buttercup Cottage Bakery is based in St. Joseph, Missouri and serves customers throughout the surrounding area through weekly bake drops, pop-ups, farmers markets, and community events.

Orders can be picked up at Buttercup Cottage Bakery, Mosaic Life Care – SPA Desk, or Moony's Coffee Shop depending on the pickup option selected when ordering.

Pickup details and instructions are provided with your order confirmation to help ensure a smooth pickup experience.

All orders are placed through our online ordering system.

Simply browse the current Weekly Bake Drop menu, select your items, choose your pickup day and location, and complete checkout.

Tuesday pickup orders close Sunday at 11:59 PM or when sold out.

Saturday and Sunday pickup orders close Wednesday at 11:59 PM or when sold out.

Because all products are made in small batches, quantities are limited each week. Once an item sells out, it will no longer be available until a future bake drop.

All online orders must be paid in full at the time of checkout to reserve your items. Payments for online orders are securely processed through our ordering platform and may be made using accepted digital payment methods and major credit or debit cards.

For pop-ups, farmers markets, and in-person events, we also accept cash and Venmo.

Because all products are prepared specifically for each weekly bake drop, payment is required before production begins.

When placing your order, you will select your pickup location using the Pickup Location option available on each item.

Tuesday pickup orders are available on Tuesday at the location selected when ordering.

Saturday pickup orders are available on Saturday at the location selected when ordering.

All orders are clearly labeled with the customer's name for easy pickup. Please verify your selected pickup location before completing your order.

At this time, Buttercup Cottage Bakery does not offer delivery services.

To help make pickup convenient, we offer multiple pickup locations throughout the week, including Buttercup Cottage Bakery Pickup, Mosaic Life Care – SPA Desk, and Moony's Coffee Shop.

Customers can select their preferred pickup location when placing an order. Additional pickup locations may be added in the future as the bakery continues to grow.

Because our sourdough breads are naturally fermented and made without unnecessary preservatives, they typically stay fresh for up to one week when stored in the bread bag provided.

For the best quality, keep your loaf at room temperature and avoid refrigeration, as it can cause bread to dry out more quickly.

If you would like to enjoy your bread beyond the first week, freezing instructions can be found on the care label attached to each loaf.
